The play "Khan gizi" was presented on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the People's Writer Ilyas Efendiyev.
The play "Khan gizi" by the Baku Municipal Theater was staged under the organization of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan. The play was presented to the audience on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the People's Writer Ilyas Efendiyev.
Before the play, which was shown on the stage of the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan, the acting Chairman of the Union, the People's Artist, the State Prize laureate Haji Ismayilov, greeted the guests.
After speaking about the life and creative path of the outstanding playwright, he gave the floor to the Honored Worker of Arts, Doctor of Art History, Professor Maryam Alizadeh. Maryam Alizadeh spoke about the role of Ilyas Efendiyev in our national dramaturgy, the pearls of art he gave to our stage, and the excellent images performed by the founder of the Baku Municipal Theater, People's Artist Amaliya Panahova in the works of Ilyas Muallim.
Then the floor was given to People's Artist Marahim Farzalibeyov. Marahim Farzalibeyov spoke about his friendship and creative ties with these two great artists. After the speeches, the audience watched the play "Khan gizi".
The play was greeted with thunderous applause. Finally, the director of the play, Marahim Farzalibeyov, and the performer of the role of Khurshidbanu Natavan, Ulviyya Rza, were awarded honorary orders of the Union.
