Memorial Day, timed to the 80thanniversary of the outstanding theatre and cinema actor, People’s Artist Eldaniz Zeynalov.
On 2 March, 2017, by the organization of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Union of Theatre Workers and the Academic National Theatre of Drama there was held a memorial day dedicated to the 80thanniversary of the outstanding actor of theatre and cinema, People’s Artist Eldaniz Zeynalov.
Chairman of the Union of Theatre Workers, People’s Artist, Professor Azer Pasha Nematov opened the event with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, representatives of the Union of Theatre Workers, prominent artists, intellectuals, members of the actor’s family and media representatives. He greeted the participants of the event, spoke about the creative way of Eldaniz Zeynalov, about his many positive qualities, shared his memories of the artist and gave the floor to People’s Artist Haji Ismayilov.
Haji Ismayilov spoke about the important points of life and works of Eldaniz Zeynalov, spoke about the high professional skills of the artist and spoke to the speakers.
Speaking at the event, People’s Artist Eldar Guliyev, Agakishi Kazimov, Rafig Azimov, Ilham Namig Kamal, Honoured Artist Elkhan Gasimov, playwright Ali Amirli told about the remarkable human qualities of Eldaniz Zeynalov.
At the end of the event, the son of the actor, Elbrus Zeynalov, thanked the organizers and participants of the event.
The event featured photos and video materials about the rich life and career of the artist.
