Event on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of People's Artist Sedaya Mustafayeva
The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan organized an event entitled "A Life Dedicated to Art" on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of People's Artist Sedaya Mustafayeva.
The event, held on the Mustafa Mardanov stage of the Union, was attended by prominent artists, intellectuals and media representatives.
In his opening remarks, the Chairman of the Union of Theater Workers, People's Artist, State Prize laureate Haji Ismayilov greeted the participants and noted the importance of the events held on the small stage of the Union.
The Chairman of the Union spoke about the creative path of Sedaya Mustafayeva and spoke about the valuable pearls she gave to the national theater and cinema. The speakers - People's Artist, Professor Ilham Namig Kamal, Honored Artist, Doctor of Art History, Professor Ilham Rahimli spoke about the creativity of Sedaya Mustafayeva and paid tribute to her dear memory.
Between the speeches, fragments from the plays and films in which the actress played were shown, and a video clip with her photos was shown.
In the end, Sedaya Mustafayeva's grandson - theater critic Anar Ertugrul Burjaliyev expressed his gratitude to the organizers and participants of the event.
