Festival of experimental performances “Filling the empty space” continues.

 The festival “Filling the empty space”, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan, continues.

On the 3rdand 4th days of the festival, the performances “In the Open Sea”, “The Black Man”, “Heavenly” and “No One to Forget” were shown.

On 3 March, at 14:00, there was shown “In the open sea” performance,based on the play of Polish writer Slavomir Mrozek and staged by Isa Asadov.

The characters in the performance were acted by Honoured Artist Gurban Masimov, actors Anar Seyfullayev and Manaf Dadashov. The performance was shown on the main stage of the Union of Theatre Workers.

3 March at 18:00 the independent theatre “Human” presented a mono-play “The Black Man” based on the poem of Sergei Yesenin. The director and performer of the performance is Shamil Ibrahimov. The performance was played on the main stage of the Union of Theatre Workers.

After the performance there was a discussion of the performances, shown during four days.

Exciting conversations and discussions were held between the creative composition of the performances and the members of the Expert Board.

The members of the Expert Board - Vidadi Gafarov, Daglar Yusifov, Samira Behbudgyzy, Guljahan Mirmammad, Farida Jalilova and Nigar Pirimova told about the positive and negative features of the performances.

On 4 March, at 14:00, there was shown performance “Celestial”, based on a play of modern Russian playwrights A. Shipanov and A. Abrazimov “Celestial or four hours from her life”. The play “Celestial” is a project of director and choreographer RaulyaTurkkan and actress of the Russian Drama Theatre  - Milana Sokolenko. The performance was shown on the stage of the Russian Drama Theatre. On 4 March, at 18.00, students of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts presented the play “No One to Forget”, based on the play of Kamal Abdulla. The director of the production is the head of the course, Honoured Artist Yagut Pashazade.

The performance was played by students of the 3rdcourse in the specialty of “Actor of dramatic theatre and cinema” of State University of Culture and Arts. The performance was played on the main stage of the Union of Theatre Workers.
