Yashar Nuri - 65.
On 15 November, 2016, by the organization of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Republic, the Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan and the National Drama Theatre there was held a memorial day dedicated to the 65thanniversary of the outstanding actor, People’s Artist Yashar Nuri.
Representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, cultural workers and artists, as well as lovers of Yashar Nuri’s talent participated in this event, held at the National Academic Drama Theatre.
In the foyer of the theatre, participants in the event looked a photo exhibition organized by the Azerbaijan State Theatre Museum.
On the memorial evening, the speakers, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan, Adalat Veliyev, People’s Artist, professor Azer Pasha Nematov, Honoured Art Worker Maharram Bedirzade, film expert Aydin Kazymzade told about the rich life and creativity of the actor and shared their memories of him. At the event, favorite songs by Yashar Nuri were sounded, there were video clips devoted to his creative way, made from fragments of performances and films in which he played.
At the end, the children of Yashar Nuri expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the event.
